Big Truck Rental LLC (BTR) has announced that John King has joined the company as the vice president of enterprise systems.
King will report to Chief Operating Officer Mike Zukusky and is responsible for all technical operating systems of the Tampa, Florida, company’s North American business.
“John is an exceptional executive with a proven track record of leading the technical side of businesses with similar growth trajectories to BTR,” Zukusky says. “John stood out amongst the candidates we met with as a leader who has been able to implement processes and systems that can improve both internal efficiencies and our customer and partner experience.”
King has 25 years of experience in software systems, process development and implementation as chief architect for Houston-based BMC Software; vice president of engineering at HPS Software Solutions, St. Louis, Missouri; and, most recently, as the chief information and technical officer for Global Widget LLC, Tampa.
He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University.

Zukusky says King will help BTR realize its growth goals over the coming years as he focuses on process enhancement and automation.

BTR President Zach Martin says King’s skills and experience will help the company implement its technology roadmap.
“He has delivered great results for small and large organizations, and that will serve us well as we continue to expand,” Martin says, adding King seems to be a great fit with BTR’s culture, as well.
